  • What were your inspirations for creating this artwork?

    • ​I have always been interested in Egypt and enjoy watching documentaries on the History channel. â€‹

  • Which media, techniques, and work processes did you use, and why did you make those choices?

    • I used acrylic paint, paint markers, and rubber stamps to create texture and balance throughout my piece.​

  • What do you intend for audiences to see, experience, and think about when viewing your work?

    • I wanted to show mystery in my artwork and to make people think about ancient mysteries we still don't know about. ​

  • What was your inspiration for creating this artwork?

    • I just really like the History Channel documentaries.​

  • What were some of the decisions you faced in creating your artwork?

    • I had a hard time deciding if it looked messy or interesting with so many layers.​

  • Did you encounter any difficulties when creating your artwork? How did you work through them?

    • I had a hard time deciding what I was going to use for the pyramid. ​

  • Is there anything about your work that you now think you should have done differently? If so, please explain what and why.

    • I think I should have gone over the hieroglyphics again with the paint marker. ​

  • Did your work involve research? What kinds of investigations and discoveries were involved?

    • I looked up the hieroglyphics and conspiracies about aliens and the building of the pyramids.  ​

  • Which are the most successful aspects of your work?

    • I like the pyramid with the eye on it because it stands out and gives emphasis.​
