What were your inspirations for creating this artwork?

​I have always been interested in Egypt and enjoy watching documentaries on the History channel. ​

Which media, techniques, and work processes did you use, and why did you make those choices?

I used acrylic paint, paint markers, and rubber stamps to create texture and balance throughout my piece.​

What do you intend for audiences to see, experience, and think about when viewing your work?

I wanted to show mystery in my artwork and to make people think about ancient mysteries we still don't know about. ​

I just really like the History Channel documentaries.​

I had a hard time deciding if it looked messy or interesting with so many layers.​

I had a hard time deciding what I was going to use for the pyramid. ​

I think I should have gone over the hieroglyphics again with the paint marker. ​

Did your work involve research? What kinds of investigations and discoveries were involved?

I looked up the hieroglyphics and conspiracies about aliens and the building of the pyramids. ​

Which are the most successful aspects of your work?

I like the pyramid with the eye on it because it stands out and gives emphasis.​
